Items that are against Republicans are not positive. Delay being out of office is a negative not a positive. I have yet to see 1 answer.

I'm not sure I'm a liberal or a conservative, but here are 10 positive things:

1. If you're in the upper 40% for income and wealth, you making a lot of money. If you are in the top 1% you are now what they call "Super Rich" meaning that you are worth billions, i.e. thousands of millions.

2. The Center for Disease Control in conjunction with other world health organizations has kept a pandemic from emerging.

3. Computers keep getting, better, faster, smarter, and cheaper.

4. Almost all of us have a job.

5. The Internet has replaced the TV as something to do in the evening.

6. We have not blown ourselves up with nuclear bombs.

7. The stores have every kind of every possible thing a human being could possibly want or need in every possible color, flavor, and size and much of it is amazingly cheap.

8. The Chinese have yet to just buy the United States outright using their huge surpluses of balance of payments.

9. You can still pretty much do what you want and say what you want in spite of some Government intrusion in its so called battle with terrorism.

10. While it is true that 30% of Americans have no form of health care insurance and have to pay premium rates for health services, 70% of us do have health insurance and get breaks in the rates charged for health services.

We are one day closer to election day.
Gas is under $3 at a few stations. That's positive because it was $3.49 not long ago.
Cheney may lose his funding because he can't decide which branch of government he's in and he can't bring himself to abide by regulations.
Bush hasn't attacked Iran yet.
Bush is going to close Gitmo.
I'm still working although several co-workers lost their jobs Friday due to a drastic slow down.
So far, we still have freedom of speech.
The case of the multimillion $ missing pants law suit was thrown out.
It was a beautiful day here today.
Last but not least, I haven't seen any reports of an American dying in Iraq today.

EDIT: I'm going to have to ask this question for conservatives when Hillary is President.

Democrats are talking about more universal health care. I think that's a positive step for this country. It's insane that we don't fully cover children and the disabled with free health care. Every other western nation treats health care as a right, yet America seems to treat it as a privilege. I'm a nurse and it's disgusting how our health system is so money driven. Bush isn't the only one to blame, congress can never agree on anything good for the American people. Instead of voting for their own pay raises and health care, maybe they could think of their own people for once. I'd like to see everyone go in 2008 and bring in all new people. I want new people in Washington who aren't corrupted by special interests and who genuinely care for the people in this country.

Unemployment is at a very good level

Inflation is pretty much non-existence

Our military has rebuilt itself

Dow Jones has been steady

More women are going to college than ever before

Now all of our law enforcement agencies can talk to one another

There has not been another terrorist attack outside of Iraq and Afghanistan since we started the war on terror

Although Americans still have their prejudices it is becoming a much more excepting society.
