I would have to say Floyd....... they invented... so many sounds. And opened so many people's minds to a whole new world.

Awwww Dani G is very pretty.
There is no doubt that Led Zeppelin opened the doors for metal.
But I don't think the people of the world have spent more time listening to any band than Pink Floyd....

I see this as apples and oranges they are very different.
I very much like Led Zeppelin but if I could only have the CD's of one of the two I would have to choose Pink Floyd they were even more innovative than Led Zeppelin and that is saying a lot. But every time I hear Pink Floyd I pick up on something I had not noticed before. I hate saying this because I love Led Zeppelin but it's got to be Pink Floyd for the diversity of sounds.

I have to say Led Zeppelin, is my fav band and the greatest rock band that ever existed on earth.... I love Pink Floyd great music and musicians, but no match for the Led...

You can't compare them. To different styles of music. Pink Floyd rocks!!!!!!!!!! And they did change the music world. So did Zeppelin.

Pink Floyd--- The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall. One of the most successful and infuential bands of all time. People still pay just to go see their light show.

Led Zeppelin. They influenced countless people but most importantly they influenced Black Sabbath and Van Halen two bands that would redifine Hard Rock and Sabbath would go on to co-create a brand new genre in 70's...Heavy Metal.
