heavy rock because emo is too whiny and depressing sometimes. I want to listen to something that expresses my anger when I'm mad, not make me feel more depressed!

Either: if it sounds good, then I'll listen to it. I like Helmet and Iron Maiden, but I also listen to a lot of stuff from just after the punk era like Bauhaus.
