I currently have a Magellen Roadmate 2200 and am thinking of getting a second GPS. I know I can "force" this GPS into doing what I want by entering intersections along the route but I would rather just hit "start", drive my route, and hit "stop". Sometimes I want to take a different route than what the GPS tells me to or I want to have a planned backup route that is different from the main route that the GPS gives.

And here I thought all GPS units would record the "trail of breadcrumbs" of a route so it could be retraced
