Same here! I've been having cramps off and on for 5 days. My period is due on 6/26-27, so I'm super-nervous....

I wonder if I'm pregnant or just getting ready for (the dreaded) period...Ugh, I hate the wait!

It depends on every individual. Mine started on the day i'm supposed to have a period and it continued until about 4 months because I had intra-uterine bleeding. Luckily, pregnancy went well with a complete bedrest and medications. Now I had a 3-month old baby boy. Good luck to you...

In some people, unfortunately, the ligaments prepare for the birth straight away, which is possibly what you are experiencing. The ligaments have around the birth area have to loosen up to enable them to stretch during the birth. It is not a problem just a nuisance. I would consult my Doctor anyhow, you can never be to sure when your having a baby, especially if it is your first.

I had mine instantly and still have them now, though less painful. They were so severe I would cry for hours about it, but nothing was wrong then, just the stretching and moving of muscles... Good luck
