Good question and in all honesty the fight could go either way. At times the jag might win but others the leopard.
You are looking at two very aggressive cats that are known for being pistols at a moments notice.
With size lets just take males... leopards tend to top out around 200lbs and jags can top out a little over 300lbs. Both are insanly strong but when push comes to shove jags when the overall size cake.
When it comes to weapons they are more or less at a tie... both with claws and jaws. Yet the jag does have a bit of an upper hand with size. And with hunting they both are stalkers.
What really starts to drive the appart is prey. Leopards are known to take game down far larger than themselves (young giraffe, zebra) and they have other preds to deal with like lions, jackels, hyena, etc. Jags on the other hand are more or less the apex pred of their region and the prey they have does not really ever get larger than themselves. They tend to stick to smaller game since it is really only what is in their area.
So when push comes to shove it really can go either way... jags have a bit of an upper hand with size but leopards are far more used to hunting and dealing with tougher game.
If I HAD to pick one though for a single fight I would probably go with the jag. But if we are talking about ten fights, I would not pick the jag to win them all.

Tiger could win its more advantageous and extra beneficial than the all of those animals. Lion could be next than the leopard than a jaguar a cheetah would not stand a wager it may in simple terms run around additionally a jaguar is a leopard besides the indisputable fact that it in simple terms lives in South united states of america

their main differences are where they live and how they kill. leopards are mainly in Africa and Asia (competing with lions and tigers), jaguars are mainly in south and central America (on top of the food chain). their hunting method is the same- stalk and ambush, but leopards will jump down from a tree, grab your throat, and drag you back up the tree to keep the other large predators from stealing the goods. jaguars are said to have the strongest jaw of any animal, second only to crocodiles, so when they run you down and bite your head (it's a fact they prefer to go for the head of their prey) you're dead faster. jaguars also typically weigh much more. my bet on this fight goes to the jaguar.

There is really no answer to that question. Both cats are exceptionally great hunters, That is how God designed them. Each one is designed to hunt in the environment in which it lives. Leopards can drag their prey into a tree, but Jaguars can kill crocodiles and pythons. If you would swap the two cat's environments, neither would probably live for too long.

the leopard can run at any speed without changing its rate of breathing
this means the event of the chase and kill is less tiring to a leopard
If horses had this trait of breathing we wouldnt be driving cars
