I was just at home living that day like any other day........until........that very sad event happened. it brought me to tears watching all the pain and sadness spread across all over America. ='( and i still think about all those innocent people whose lives changed in a second and i pray for them.

I was home that morning I had let my dogs out when I had saw and heard planes that were landing at the local Air guard Base, Very unusual for a Tuesday, My grandmother called and said turn on the news, so I did , and sat there shocked, guessing who would do that to us, why, ,,,thinking about my grandparents that had to live through this again after 60 years.

At home, just up from working the night shift, and my husband called and said turn on the TV, so I did and stared at the screen trying to make sense of what building had smoke coming out of it. Then I saw the plane and sat numbly as it flew into the tower.

I was in my first year teaching band in texas and my dad was in an american airlines plane over chicago. It's funny, because I can even remember the exact student that first told me the news. It's like time stood still.
