Durant is an overall better player than Oden. He can shoot from the permiter and can be a force in the paint in the NBA. But Oden is just one of those players you need to draft first and you know he will not become a bust. The Blazers do not need an another PF since they have Alderige and Rnadolph. The Blazers do need a C which Oden is and Durant can be if he bulks up.

Only if Greg Oden dies before the draft. Seriously, Oden has everything you want out of a big man, and how often does a seven-footer come along with all these tools? Plus, a stiff wind could break Durant in half. If he can't bench 185 once, how does he expect to get up after getting fouled hard twice a game?

No, even though I think Durant will be an explosive player and grow another 3-4 inches, he just does not have the size of Oden. Oden is a for sure talent with size and gerth. While durant is more of a gamble for a club and may get pushed around on the NBA level.

Everyone is talking about these two guys but watch out for Corey Brewer

For me Durant should be no. 1... he has more of a complete game than Oden. He can defend and certainly can score. The problem is his frail body, if he can develop (his body) quickly then maybe he would be deadly (then again if he becomes no. 1 they would have lots of good wing men, they have Roy didn't they? But I hope history doesn't repeat itself for the Blazers remember passing up Jordan for Bowie). But don't also bet that Portland would want to pass an opportunity to have, probably, the next best Big man which is Oden. Either way its a win-win situation for Portland also for Seattle who have the 2nd pick.

I really don't think so. Finding such a dominant big man like Oden is very rare . Oden WILL be the first pick of this draft, as Portland will jump at what oden has to offer. They say they're undecided, but they will pick oden. Trust me.

I guess that's a decision and fact that only the Portland Trailblazers can say.

if you're a Kobe fan, and think he's the best player in the league, you'll probably believe that Durant is a no-brainer for the #1 pick.

if you want to win championship, ala, Tim Duncan. you take Oden without question.

no reason being is oden can control the game in both ends of the floor offense and defense, although durant is still a good defender oden can jump quicker

Durant should go first because he is just a better all around player but Oden will go first. Teams get scared away from Durant because he looks to frail.
