How else to explain this ridiculous "fairness doctrine" starting to bubble up again?

Liberals love to address their shortcomings in the form of legislation. For example, Talk radio is directly affected by it's listening audience. Revenue is generated by advertising sales in direct relationship to said listening audience. Since the liberal agenda has no audience, they once again seek to level the playing field by making everything "fair". The fact is, The listener base doesnt exist for the liberals degenerate agenda, but they refuse to accept reality. As everyone knows, If you disagree with a liberal, you are a bigot, hatemonger, etc.etc. I have to ask, If liberals do not like capitalism, then why are there so many liberal businesses like moveon.org, asking for your money???

Why don't you read about what the Fairness Doctrine is before you make statements. It was in effect between 1949 and 1986. The public was actually more informed then. Now most people just get emotional hype instead of being informed. Half truths and outright lies are making people really radical and ignorant. Apparently many think ignorance is bliss.

i'm experiencing the countless comparable problems with my 3 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous. He doesnt get junk nutrition all the time, and maybe a satisfied Meal as quickly as each week, yet he hates to consume any form of meat (except its hamburgers or poultry nuggets), vegitables, or something extremely. somewhat of becoming him particular nutrition each nighttime, we've began making him plates of what we consume, somethings we could desire to continuously conceal, or make it look form of humorous... Its complicated to describe, yet whilst my spouse makes baked poultry, we cut back it in small products like poultry nuggets, and tell him the poultry nuggets are bare. we actually could desire to coax him and threaten to do away with television privileges, toys, and so on. frequently he's taking a chew, and realizes how good that's. the subsequent time we've poultry... we could desire to continuously initiate that comparable technique yet returned till he realizes how good that's. picky eaters are extremely complicated to handle, and that i've got discovered a thank you to get my son to do notably much each little thing he's meant to, yet for him I could desire to coach each little thing right into a game, or make it relaxing/humorous. i'm guessing different young ones are distinctive, yet consistent with possibility something I mentioned will help, consistent with possibility no longer. the main serious element is to basically save your cool.

They know they cannot, so their only option is to shout down those who dare to disagree.

On college campuses, conservative speakers are routinely shouted at and their meetings disrupted by those who are afraid to participate in the discussion because they know -- in a true free speech environment -- their ideas would be shredded like cheese.

The same goes for the "fairness doctrine" nonsense. Libs know they cannot compete with conservatives on a level playing field because the ludicrous illogical absurdities at the core of their bizarre belief system would be laid bare and exposed for the idiocy it is.

Therefore, since they know they cannot compete, they shout down their opposition with legislation.

Typical liberalism: Free speech for me but not for thee.

Competition is what the fairness doctrine is all about--by insuring PUBLIC airwaves are open to everyone, not monopolized by a select few. The airwaves aren't private property--and never have been. No one has an exclusive right to use them.

I do. I believe in free speech, even for republicans ;)
I am also a patriot. I believe in capitalism as well.

The Fairness Doctrine is a retreat to the elementary playground where if you bring something to eat, the teacher forces you to share it with everyone.

Not for me.

I'm a democrat, not a socialist.

Do you even know what the Fairness Doctrine is? It's mandating that anyone using our public airwaves to give equal time to BOTH sides of the issue. Left and right. Pro and con. It's the OPPOSITE of censorship because it forces media moguls/conglomerates to have views other than their own aired on their shows. So yes, Rush Limbaugh wouldn't be able to spew his Bush cheerleading propaganda 24/7 without having another person give their counterpoint with equal time. WOW, THE HORROR OF HINDERING PROPAGANDA!!!!
