My neighborhood sounds like Baghdad on the fourth. Good times.

My neighborhood sounds like a war zone, and its ALL FUN. Neither fireworks nor gunshots are restricted here in Middle America.
We all sit out on the porch and watch the fireworks down by the lake and shoot our guns. I have a .45 pistol; a 40S&W; a.357 magnum; two 9mms; and a Ruger Redhawk. After dark I get out the AR-15 with the 100rd. drum magazine. A neighbor of mine has a .50 Caliber Barrett. You can definitly tell when big brother is here!
I will say this: the police never have to come around; and to the best of my knowledge there has never been property damage or a "stray" bullet hit someone. Us country bumpkins know what gun control means. It means hitting your target; not your neighbor.
Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition!!!

Not me. But I have lived close enough to hear the gunshots before. In fact, I used to listen to my police scanner every night and on new years eve, I would hear the cops calling in saying they are staying under an overpass for a couple minutes because of all the morons shooting heir guns in the air. We would also not let our kids sleep upstairs that night, cuz falling bullets can go through a roof very easily.

The only noise here is my next door neighbor's dogs barking. If it keeps up, there may be some gunshots....

My neighborhood is very quiet. SURPRISE!! There are only blacks on my block. We all get along too.
