This is what you do... you let him know that you will be there for him no matter what. And that he can always come to you if he needs anything (Especially just for someone to listen to him). You don't pressure him to tell you. Just be patient he will tell you when he is ready if he is in fact gay. My best friend is gay and he didn't have the guts to tell me until 8 years down the road (even though I had my assumptions). You just need to accept him and if he does things like putting his hands on you or "comes" on to you. Just vocalize (in private because it could be very embarrassing in public, and in a polite manner) that is makes you feel uncomfortable. And you should never make judgmental comments about other gay people in front of him because that will only make him shy away from coming out.

If he is, so be it! I mean w/that chg. your feelings or friendship twds. him? If not, don't worry about it & I'm sure in time the truth w/come out IF he is. Some of my best friends are gay & they are super people no different from anyone else. They also do not "bother" anyone else they know is straight, that's just not the way it works. Guess you're just going to have to wait & see. But, that shouldn't have any bearing on your friendship one way or another. That's if you're true friends. Don't try to "read" things into what he does or says until you've been told by him. Just assure him you're his friend period, then prove it!

Well i completely understand why you would think so but I believe you should wait for a little more signs like the way he might act around guys that might look good because it is possible for straight guys to act the way you described.

I've always wanted a gay guy to be my best girlfriend. Guess I watch too much Will and Grace.

Why does it matter if he's gay? If he's gay, he's gay. He'll come out when he's ready. He might not even be guy. Some guys are just like that.

So, what if he is gay?? What is the big deal? I have friends that are gay/lesbian and you could not ask for better friends. If he is just let him know that it is okay and that you will still be his friend. Just let him know that you are not interested in him.

maybe he is. But if he ever touches you in that way and you aren't comfortable. Tell him your not like that. And that doesn't mean you can't be friends with him still. Unless you know for sure don't label him just yet.

who cares if he's gay? if hes your friend, it shouldnt matter. being gay doesnt impair his ability to be a good friend at all. i have gay friends. it doesn't bother me.
if he is gay, one day he will 'come out', and all he will need from you is your love (as a friend) and support. so just be there for him, as you would for any other friend

um.. not enough information. But even if he is gay, gay guys are fun to hang out with. If you are against gay orientation, then just find another friend.
can u help me with my question please?
