Or, should I dump the ones I have in my closet? Fashion police, help? The ones I have are solid prints: gold, dark blue, silver, all top notch designers.....hmmmm?

Do not touch the silk shirts.... I know this fall reviewing all the fashion shows... metallics are in big time. Especially gold and silver. So I would hang onto them.

Silk is never out of style. It's been called the queen of fabrics for over three thousand years, and with good reason. Silk is always good with classic dressy day and business wear; and can take a casual outfit and turn it into something special. The only ones I would have an issue with are the so called "sand washed" or sueded silks from the early nineties. Those can be safely retired.

I think the fashion of a shirt these days depends a lot more on cut and pattern/color than fabric or designer. If you're wearing them to work with a modern suit they'd be fine. Ask a fashionable friend what she thinks.
