WWE wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and his son Daniel were found dead today in their Atlanta home.
WWE.com reported the story moments ago on their website. Benoit, 40, missed a Saturday night house show and last night's pay-per-view in order to return home to Atlanta.
PWTorch.com can confirm through sources that Benoit's death is real and not part of a worked WWE storyline.
WWE has announced plans to scrap tonight's scheduled "Vince McMahon memorial" storyline on WWE Raw, and will address Benoit's death on the program.
No further details are available at this time.

Sadly it is true. Not only was he found dead but his 7 year old child and his wife who played the character of Woman on the old WCW shows. What is sad is because Vince McMahon did that tasteless "death skit" a few weeks some of you wonder if this is a work or not. It made the real news.
Let me say this, some of you have got to grow and learn the difference between real and fantasy. If you aren't mature enough to grasp that and seek out real information, you are too young to be watching wrestling.

Pro wrestler Chris Benoit, his wife and 7-year-old son were found slain Monday at their Fayette County home, authorities said.
Sheriff's Lt. Tommy Pope said the three were found about 2:30 p.m., but he would release no other details about the deaths at the house near White Water Country Club.
Pope said the deaths were being investigated as homicides, but said the cause of death awaits autopsy results on Tuesday. He would not say how the bodies were discovered, or who found them.
World Wrestling Entertainment, based in Stamford, Conn., said on its Website that Benoit, 40, his wife, Nancy, and son, who was named Daniel, were found dead but also had no other details.
The WWE said that instead of its programming Monday night on USA Network, it would air a three-hour tribute to Benoit.
Benoit, a Canadian native, maintained a home in metro Atlanta from the time he wrestled for the now-defunct World Championship Wrestling. Most recently, he fought as part of the WWE.
Benoit's wife, Nancy, managed several wrestlers and went by the stage name, "Woman," The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on its Website.
They met when her then-husband drew up a script that had them involved in a relationship as part of an ongoing storyline on World Championship Wrestling, the newspaper said.
Benoit has two other children from a prior relationship

Yes he is really dead. Benoit his wife and his son's bodies were found this morning. They know he was not shot to death but he didn't go to vengeance last night because his family was coughing up blood.
