Okay so I'm in this contest to design a pair of shoes-I have the shoes, but not the style...any ideas on what I can put on a plain white canvas shoe? (paint, jewels, photos, ect)

try a really cool design with colored sharpies and glitter. as for the laces, try something different, like colored ribbon or something like that. good luck!

well, I think some rinestones (same clor, shape, etc.) on the rubber band that goes around the botton, some glitter on the holes where the laces poke through, the tips of the laces should also be glittered to match the holes, the laces themselves should probably be tye-dyed, the actual shoe would look cool tye-dyed too, only add some swirls of glitter.
That's what I did for one of my projects.

calauge(?). ya know, with black and white pics of marylin minroe, aubrey hepburn, coco chanel, twiggy and any fashion icon from the 40's, 50's or 60's. and then add some color by painting the ppl's lips red(that will stand out) and recoloring the dresses that the ppl r wearing in the pic's

Try vibrant colors with colored sharpies, and large and small gems ( like Marc Jacobs runway look).

deccopauge (i know that's not spelled right, sorry) pictures on in a theme... black and white, kissing pictures, etc.
