What's the intended usage for this system? For general purpose computing it's great. It's got speed to burn- could use another 1gb of RAM is all.

For gaming, I'd move up to a better video card, even if it meant going with a less expensive CPU like a 5000+ (the GeForce 8600's are DX10 compliant but nothing special in terms of performance)

Either get a Radeon X1950 Pro or 8800 GTS 320mb, depending upon how much you want to spend. I'd go with a 500W power supply in any event.

As it stands right now, I'd give it a 7. With the upgrades, it's an 8.5...

I just finished one with most of the pieces you have. I'm running 2 gig of ddr2 800 mhz ram and 2 geforce 7600 GT OC cards. I put a 550 watt ps and it works good. I have fans on the cpu, ram fans , 2 -120 mm case fans , a fan on the hd and the northbridge chip. It deems to run quiet and cool.

Atleast a 500 watt power supply,but i would opt for 600 watt.

Maybe another gig of ram for a total of 2 GB ram

U have a great system. i assume u built it yourself, make sure u have good cooling inside the case.

That system is absolutely perfect for XP. I would upgrade to Vista and get 2 gigs of RAM.

Probably something 500w or higher. Don't get a really cheap one. My friend learned that the hard way.

Looks good. Don't skimp on the power supply, it's one of the most, if not the most important component in your computer. This power supply will do you fine. It's one of the best ones out there. They make a 620w model, but your configuration won't need that. It won't hurt either, but you don't need it.

MORE RAM! You should really at least double or quadruple your RAM.
