why is kevin garnett rated so highly in nba games?

you really have to recognize garnett's ability in the larger scope of the history of the game. He's one of the handful of guys in the history of the league to average 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists a game for his CAREER. Literally, only a handful.
Add in great FG/FT%, 2 blocks a game, 1.5 steals per game, an above avarage A/TO ratio and you've got something that's really unique for all of NBA History.
We're talking about a 7 footer with point guard court vision, an unstoppable nose for the ball, a remarkable rebounder, an efficient, multi-talented scorer, he's got postgame, facing the basket game, he can handle the ball impressively well, a really, really fantastic defender and his passion and enthusiasm for the game are almost unrivalled. He has an amazing, amazing skill set made more so by his size.

In his 12 seasons he's played with near zero talent and has only missed the playoffs 4 times. The best players he's ever played with was a way over the hill latrell sprewell and an aging, disinterested sam cassell. He took those guys to the NBA Western Conference Finals.

He's a better rebounding Dirk Nowitzki with a top of the league defensive ability. So yeah...he's that good.

Big up to those of you who actually have some sense. Kevin Garnett is the most all around player in the NBA and I'm a Kobe Bryant fan. He averaged 22.5 points and lead the league in rebounds again. He's freakishly atheletic and is an unsefish and talented passer. He can play both in and out and is ungaurdable. Only problem is his team isn't commited to winning. That's why they didn't surround him with good character and contributing players. Trust me if you watch them play you'd know he's far from overrated

please, im tired of god damn tim duncan, hes not good anymore i know he just won a nba championship, but tony parker stole the show, im pretty sure kg is the best all powerfoward in the league right now! he can dribble better than tim duncan, just as good as a shooter and a better athelete better free throw percentage too!
