Two of my OFs (Damon and Dye) are hurt (and in a serious slump) and an owner offered me Carl Crawford for Justin Verlander. I picked up Delmon Young as a short term replacement for now. Check out my team and let me know if I should make this trade. Thanks!

I forgot to mention this is a head to head league (5x5). Thanks!

I would say do it but your SP is pretty week. If you are short in SB maybe do the trade. I mean you gain a category with that guy.

i could do it. Tex has been slacking yet continues to be a monster. i'm no longer a huge fan of Verlander and that i do no longer think of Detroit is that stable. I had Verlander final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days and that i became benching him various the time. he's having a extra powerful 3 hundred and sixty 5 days this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days yet screw him. Hughes is going to have a huge 2d a million/2.

I would say it is not as incredibly unbalanced as everyone is making it seem. Since it is a 5x5 league, Crawford and Verlander will pretty much contribute to all 5 respective stats. Yes, your pitching is very solid, but getting Crawford would probably not matter very much.

And to whoever said Crawford is just good, look at his stats. He is one of the best all-around players in the game, one of the forgotten 5-Tool players.

No way. Justin Verlander is one of the premier pitchers in the MLB. Carl Crawford isn't as big a producer as Verlander. It also depends on how many batting and pitching categories there are. I wouldn't do this deal.

Yes! Crawford is an everyday player. Justin Verlander is only going to play every 5 days. Your pitching staff is stacked so letting Verlander go won't hurt you.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! don't do it!!!! Verlander is one of the best young pitchers in baseball. Crawford is good, but not that good! Offer Brian Roberts and Dan Uggla for Crawford.. Maybe just Roberts. Good luck!

don't do it buddy
only because of verlander's potential- he's starting to pile up the k's
it also depends on what stats count in your league- if more pitching stats count, then keep verlander.
if not, then consider it more

Don't make that trade, offer him Scott Kazmir instead.

Sure! Trade Justin if you want to lose!

Otherwise keep him, he's on fire and will win the Cy Young this year.

Keep Verlander, he will be good for K's, ERA, and wins.
