I want to be a very memorable hurricane forecaster when I grow up?

Question

I am 13 going on to 14 years old. I've already got my life figured out:
1.This summer I plan to start a hurricane forecasting website and hopefully encourage local and state officals to issue evacuation orders when there is a dangerous hurricane threatning. I also want to contribute to CNN to commentate on the hurricane coverage.
2. Then I am going to go to Cornell University to get a Masters Degree in Meterology. I want to do internships with the TV stations.
3. After I graduate I want to get married but not have children till I am 30 years old. I want at least three children.
4. age25-Then I am going to work for the Storm Prediction Center in Norman,Okalahoma for 9 years.
5. age34- I am then going to move up to the National Hurricane Center as a hurricane specialist eventually a senior hurricane specialist for 15 years age49-Then I want to go to the Weather Channel as a Tropical Weather Expert for least 15 years then semi-retire but still remain a Hurricane Contributer

I think the field of meteorology is a great one to be in, though, and you'll always be able to find work if you've got a Masters in it. Have fun, work hard and good luck!

There you have it, you are already one step ahead of your competition! If that is what you really want, expect to weather the ups and downs of getting there (no pun intended). More than likely it will not go particularly to plan but the more you stick to the actual plan and refuse to waiver, the more likely it will come to you. Your main objective is to keep to your plan when faced with roadblocks or naysayers. Best of luck, good to see a level headed child posting a question!!

Thats good that you have your future set already. Good job and wish you luck. I'm thinking of being a Hurricane Chaser also same as you but the only difference is that i am going to be a chaser with my local news station here in Florida

that is really detailed.
remember to look for correlations in solar activity from the sun and hurricane levels, I have seen some very interesting data linking the two.
