Yes, sort of in reverse... my husband has been activated in the Army Reserve since 2003. He's still in Houston, and I'm in Austin. Our 24th wedding anniversary is next month, and he's managed to be gone somewhere since our 20th! I think he might make it home this year though! And he did figure out how to order and have live flowers delivered via the Internet from Iraq, so he's not all bad. First time I'd ever had roses delivered in a box via FedEx (or maybe UPS... can't remember).

Yes and it did not woirk for me. The telephone conversations became fewer and fewer because without seeing each other, we really reached the point of not having anything to talk about. Both of us, met different poeple and ultimately hooked up with someone in the same town. Sad but true.

Yes I have had one but he is in the UK and me USA so we decided it was better just as friends... I recently met someone from the same state. He lives over 200 miles away. Not sure if it will turn into a LDR yet.. Too soon to tell....
