I am still waiting to find out what happened to him and his family,this is very bad and very tragic,Benoit was supposed to be in the ecw title match at vengance but left for family emergency. R.I.P Benoit family. All too many wrestlers have passed away in the last decade,he was one of the best ever.

All that is said is that he was NOT shot to death but HE did call out of work due to family emergency another source said that his wife and son were coughing up blood.

There is also no proof this happened. As host for The Slam Zone radio show in Kentucky, I have been in contact with Atlanta PD, Peachtree City PD, and the Fayette County Sheriff Dept, and none of them can confirm the report - or even state that there is an investigation.
Searches for TV and Newspaper sites around Atlanta only comes up with a couple references - all of them citing the WWE release - no confirmation from authorities
If this is a hoax story by WWE - they are facing a huge fan backlash, one that will severely hurt their standing.
If this is true - wrestling entertainment just lost a giant of a man in this industry.

because the investigation is ongoing and they are not sure what really happened. The only thing that has been reported is that they were not shot.

No details have been released except that He, his wife and son were found dead. They did confirm he wasnt shot to death. otherwise that is all the info.
