Get a Linksys, they're easy to set up, email me and i'll give you a big shortcut, yes, you do need an adapter, if it's a laptop, then there's probally 1 in there, but for a desktop i would suggest a Linksys card that goes into a PSI(Exp.) slot, much better reception. My motherboard was on the wrong side so I had to get a USB adapter and it works fine.
Email me w/ any ?'s

I don't know if it is easy to use, but the Apple Airport Extreme (see the link: http://www.apple.com/airportextreme/) is a very good router that can give wireless access to any usb device because it has a usb port that projects a signal with the device in it.

Linksys has great tech support. I've had mine for about 4 years now.
Laptops usually come standard with adapters, desktops you'll need to buy one.

Use linksys, and if it's a pc or an older laptop then you will most likely need an adapter if it's a newer laptop then you most likely won't.

netgear, linksys, d-link are the most popular. If you don't have an internal antenna, you will need an adapter. see the faqs at dslreports.com
