18 months of that was very happy for him. He found out she had been seeing someone for the past 7months of that two years. They have a child who has just turned 2.I am of the opinion that she purposely got married to have a baby so she could get maintenance and what ever else from this marriage. as he bought a house seven months into the marriage. He also bought her a vehicle and has a very good job. He is a tradesperson (Electrical Engineer) and obviously makes very good wage.

She moved out of the home after a somewhat pitiful argument
We have since found out she has been seeing someone for the past seven months.
She went home to mother for the two of those months nd has now got herself a unit.
The relationship has become more involved and unfortunatly found out in a most alarming way. My sons 2yr old was spending the night with him and we there for dinner and she just happened to mention this persons name who was
staying with mummy in her room.
What do you say to her. HURTS

As the parents of the soon to be ex husband there is really nothing to say to her!
Support your son and stop helping her if you are! Tell your son to get a great attorney and hire a private investigator. Have them follow her and document all of the coming and goings of her new home and use that against her in court. I am sure she will be suing for child support and alimony if you can prove were she was at fault your son might have a fighting chance to receive custody of the child and awarded not to pay alimony.
That is the best advise I can give and remember you have to be there for your son and that female he married sounds like a bottom feeder!
Do you really want your grandchild growing up thinking this behavior is normal? God forbid the child is a boy he will grow up and never trust his wife and if the child is a female this is teaching her to be fast and easy! Children learn most of their personality before the age of five so you can sit there reading this or get cracking at getting custody of the child!

If this is going to end in divorce, obviously your son will have to pay child support for the years to come. But as far as what she gets from him like the house, etc., it doesn't sound like they have been married a real long time and with a good lawyer, maybe they can limit just how much he would have to give her. Your son has the grounds for divorce as she cheated, so that is in his favor. Some people can be so rotten, huh? Best to you and your son.

As hard as it may be, this is not your problem. This is between your son and daughter in law. The only thing you have a right to interfere in is the the well being of your grand child. Your son must learn to deal with his own problems. She is not a good person and hopefully he will realize that and completely end the relationship. Unfortunately, the mother has the authority to leave that child in whoevers care she wishes. It does not prove highly of her that she would introduce her young child to another male. Good luck.

What needs to be done is to cut her off immediately. Yes, your son will have to give up a lot of money, house, etc. But while the divorce is being processed, he has to take steps to protect himself and the family from financial ruins. She could be running up bills, paying for extravagant items for her boyfriend, you name it. If she earns money, she can support herself. If not, she will raid the common accounts. Have your son terminate the credit cards and close the joint accounts. Make her beg for spending money. Then you have some upper hand to negotiate for full custody of the children.

The situation sucks, & I'm sure you only want to help your son. BUT, this is none of your business. It's his marriage, not yours. You need to stay out of it. I noticed in your comments, not once did you say he came to you for advice. If he's not asking, don't give it. Even if he does ask for advice, you have to remember, he did, and maybe still does, LOVE this woman. You can't trash talk her to him no matter how you feel. You'll feel like an a** if you do & they work things out.

Unfortunately there isn't anything you can do for your son but be there for him.I have a son who is 26 and if a female did that to him I would be out for her head.My heart goes out for you and your granddaughter and son. The only thing you can do is to tell as many people as you can about what kind of person she is in hopes of the right person getting a hold of the information and has the authority to do something to help you and your family out.

Let your son handle it and BUT OUT!! Most women can't stand momma's boys and it causes marriage problems. And I doubt if a woman would have a child to get "maintenance".

If she was your family before she is your family now. She made a mistake. Its your son and you love him, but dont intrude. Love him enough to stay nuetral in the situation and continue to be cordial to the young woman.

You don't say anything, this is your son's issue and needs to be handled by him...he needs to decide what is next...be there for him and the baby, be supportive of whatever he decides, but stay out of it.
