I'd say all women want a man that really 'get' them. Someone that is on their level intellectually, emotionally, and, yes, physically. A question like this will only get you general answers, but the truth is, every woman wants a man that makes her feel like she's the only woman on earth. I love it when a guy gets my corny jokes, and has some to give me in return. When a man can make you laugh, it's like the world is melting and so are all of the problems in it. Women want a man that wants them, and isn't afraid to show it; not just for the physical reasons, but a man that identifies with them emotionally as well.
My general answers would be:
1. Trustworthiness
2. Can make me laugh
3. Understands me
4. Responsibility
5. Laid back
As you can see, it seems as though it's all about me! But that's not quite right-a man who can comply with these will always get them in return. I recycle what I'm given in a relationship, as is the truth with any strong, confident person.

A man who has true values of home and family, respect, heart, and the ability to share with you your dreams and goals and aspirations. A shared religion is also important. Look for someone who was brought up in these values and you have a chance to have a successful life with a great man. The same holds true on the female side. If you don't have these values, it won't work. You have to be on the same page and from similar backgrounds to make it work. It's not all about him. You bring something into the relationship that could or could not make it work.

This is kind of bogus, because the answers are all about honesty and etc. However, many women won't get many of us men that have these qualities because they have to get past the 5 qualities that they look for FIRST in a man. 1. Eyes 2. Butt 3. Money 4. Real Estate and 5. Car.
The same is true for most men, but I dont' care about that LOL

To Mrs. Handy- I sure wish that what you are saying is true. However, since my father was a "good Christian" according to all who knew him and allowed my step-mother to physically abuse my sisters to an extreme and he refused to get help for his mental illnesses, this simply does not hold water.
