y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.

therefore since the line goes up one and over there and it intersects the y axis at zero.

y = (1/3)x + 0

or

y = (1/3)x

The line intersects at 0. So the answer is y=1/3x. It goes up 1 and over 3. Using rise over run, it is 1/3. In y=mx+b form it would be y=1/3x+0 (y+1/3x)

y=(1/3)x

it goes thru (0,0) and (3,1)
y=mx+b where m=slope and b=y intercept
it passes thru y at 0. b=0
y=mx+0
to find slope put the difference in y's over the difference in x's
(0-1) / (0-3)=-1/-3= 1/3
therefore y=1/3x
