My maw maw. It's been 15 years & I still cry & pray to at least dream of her. She was my best friend my whole life. She spoiled me rotten. I would go to sleep at her house & end up staying for weeks until my parents MADE me go home then she'd come get me the next day. I don't know what she did to make me feel so special. She'd make us a picnic & we'd go into the pastures & pick pecans..well she'd pick I'd eat. She robbed her husband's (my step paw paw) pockets of change when he'd pass out drunk & give it to me. She taught me to cook really good, tried to teach me to knit.
I remember her smell, her laugh & her suffering in the end. I miss her so much.
Thanks for asking a great question.

Actually, I have two, my parents. My mother passed away of cancer at the age of 34. I was 9 years old. My father passed away of cardiovascular disease at the age of 61.
As for my mother, she was a farmer's daughter, and loved the outdoors and animals. She may have been a country hick, but she spoke 3 foreign languages, played the clarinet, and taught Sunday School for childrens' classes at our Church. I remember she taught us a childhood prayer as kids, and I know it to this day. She also sung us to sleep.
My father was hard working and hard living. He served in the Solomon Islands in WWII, worked 16-hr days at Ford Motor Company installing transmissions to put food on the table and a roof over our heads. While we did miss out on a lot of personal things, but he did the best he could with what he had to work with. I miss him. He died the day I returned home from the military in my arms.
I miss them both.

Hi, My mom i will always have her in my heart. I am a part of her and she will always live inside of me. I miss those specially lemon pies mom would bake for me on Thanks Giving because I hated Pumpkin pie so much. She always loved the holidays specially Xmas. It would take mom a week to put the decoration on the tree they had to be just so right and she even put cotton on each branch for snow it was always a beautiful tree when mom Findley finished the tree. That was 14years ago since i seen my mom alive. I do miss her very much..

My little brother, at the young age of 22, took his own life. This was two years ago and I am still having a very hard time with it. Had he only known how much he was loved then maybe...he would still be here. He will always be with me though.

actually, i haven't. but, my grandpa may die within like 6 months. but, i have lost friendships which is almost as bad. i lost a friendship wit a guy dat i loved. and he loved me too but, he wanted to look cool to his friends so he broke up wit me. we were 2gether for two years.
i miss our talks on the phone where we learned bout each other and came to love each other for who we really are. i miss just bein able to hold his warm hands, his loving hugs and his passion kiss. but, i miss bein able to look him in the eye whiling telling him how much i care and love him. its been about a year or year an a half. we don't talk anymore and well, sometimes we just stare at each other (probably remembering the good times dat we had) and we will make glances at just other when the either of us kno it.
i still miss him......and love him...... :'[

Grandma, she was such a great lady. We used to visit every summer for 2 wks in N.Wisconsin and had such a great time. When I learned that other people's grandmas would spank their grandchildren, I was totally floored.
