Okay so I've never sat at a gig before, and me and my sister have got tickets to go see Metallica at Wembley (standing), but we're thinking of selling them as we would rather not get trampled on and would prefer to actually appreciate the music. Anyways, was just wondering whether it's better to sit directly opposite the stage, or at the sides closer to it?

Sides. Away from the speakers.

I prefer the sides but the sound is probably better in the back. Wembley is a big place. I damn sure wouldn't stand in Wembley. You may not come out of there.

Don't quite know about a stadium, but now if you were to ask me the best place to sit at a rodeo, i would be able to tell you in a quick hurry that it's right behind the shoots...lol
