what's better, or worst? why?

Loner: someone who almost never hangs out with anyone, and is mostly on thier own.
Tag along: someone who is with a group of people, but he/she is just with them, not really saying much or really 'bonding' with them.
(couldn't find a better word for 'bonding')

i'd say loner...more independent and not affected by peer pressure (better)

Loner.
I was a tag along in primary school, because I had a fight with my good friends. It was so akward and I felt so unwanted. I'd definetly rather be alone then pretend to be accepted by people
Luckily when I went to highschool I found great friends.

they are both good and bad...the good thing about being a loner is that you always get to decide what you are going to do, but you miss out on interpersonal contact...if you tag along you are at the mercy of the group, doing what they want...plus the chances are that you will not stand out in the group...

I'd say neither really. This question is hard to answer because there are negative things about both. It's like asking: Would you rather be killed by a bear or a shark? I guess I'm not much help.

Loner
It allows me more independence for socializing with other people then by sticking to a safety net of people I already know and are probably bored of at the first hour I meet up with them.
