Hello Fran :-)
Well I remember some voices but others I just can't no matter how hard I try. I think it might be because our sense of hearing is the last one we use to relate to old memories. Our first sense is usually smelling; different smells usually trigger all sorts of memories from us. Second is usually seeing, we always have a somewhat easy time forming pictures in our heads of thing we have witnessed. Taste can actually lead to a lot of memories too; like trying some cookies and finding they are just like the ones your grandma use to make you when you when you were 5. And I think that touch and hearing are all the way in the end of the list.

i have lost a lot of relatives. i think it is hard to remember there voice when you do not see them for a while. some day though you might here a voice like theres and know you recognize it but you can not place the person, and mayber its like theres was. if you do not want this to happen though just make a recording of them talking. it sure would be nice to be able to remember dead family/friends. your lucky to have had the pictures. hold on to the memories. i hope everything turns out okay.

When my mom died, I could picture her and hear her voice in my mind for years. Then one day, I realized that I could no longer hear her. My dad was a very active man even though he was in his 80s and his health was failing him. I started saving his phone messages to me. They were happy messages and gave info about what hotel he'd be staying at, when to expect him back, which plants would need extra care in his green houses, etc. I'm so glad I kept those messages. They've served me well.

I'm not sure, but I can remember their voices distinctly.
Perhaps if you had any home movies, it would help your mind remember them.

I can remember most of them. It isn't always an enjoyable memory.
