While it's possible that you're pregnant, you would have a lot more signs if you were. Breast tenderness and nausea come to mind first. But after 4 months, you'd know.

The pregnancy tests work by measuring the amount of pregnancy hormone in your urine. Nowadays they're sensitive enough to tell if your pregnant on the first day you've missed your period.

Take another test, and call your doctor, regardless of the results. No period for three months should be looked into.

If you can't get in to see the doc right away, make sure you drink lots of water and eat a healthy diet. If you're pregnant it will help the baby, if you're not, it will help you.

Sometimes your period can get messed up from stress and a bad diet. And let's face it, stress will mess up your diet. Which messes up your period, which causes stress. It can be a vicious cycle.

Be proactive and take really good care of yourself until your doctor's appointment. It'll give you something else to focus on.

Depends when you did the test. The urine tests don't work once you are preg for a certain period of time so you may get a neg even if pregnant as the hormone they pick up drops off after first trimester so best see a doctor and tell her/him the situation and that you maybe over 3 months they may opt to go strainght for ultrasound.
Even if you aren't pregnant it would be a good idea to get the missing period thing sorted out!

Is this the first time it has happened. I have not had one in a year and it is becasue I have polysystic ovarian syndrome. So if this is something that is reoccuring then it could be that if not then it could be stress or a pregnacy. Take another test

Could be stress.
Could be the test was falsely negative.
Could be some other illness.
Probably you should go to your dr to rule out illness and pregnancy.

Take another test. There can be false negatives.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns.

IT could be stress too.

Try and calm down a little, but you really should go see your Dr. at least you will know exactly what is going on with your body.
