Would like to plan our trip around some hot rod car shows, races etc. any ideas on what is the best time to go in order to take in these events?

When ever you go, if you like cars, you will like the collection
of unique autos at the Imperial Palace, its in the top of the
parking garage, & you can usually find free tickets in one
of the tourist magazines that are all over the place. The place is amazing, all are in excellent condition & are for sale.
..also, The LIberace Museum has his collection of cars on display, he was a fan of vintage auto's and all of them can
be viewed-when you see them, you will be speachless. It
is worth the time to go & see them.
