retard means slow. PC (Mentally Challenged) is wrong at this rate 15 years from now they will publish a book of words that can't be used; it will be 900 pages.
people that are retarded are not stupid, some are extremely smart just have difficult time projecting that. So if you are slow but brilliant is it a mental problem. PC is stupid I rather be retarded then Mental!

Just to clear things up for you: to actually refer to a mentally challenged person (as you are, regarding a hospital) as a 'retard' is NOT funny. To refer to yourSELF or a close friend as 'retarded' who technically is not = funny. I myself think it is one of the funniest words in the English language when used properly......but yours needs work.
