What has changed for the average American since President Bush took office?

President Bush is hated more then liked as polls indicate, what was the most specific thing Bush has done that has changed your life for the worse.

He cut $$ on education, sent many innocents to war, and many during the war were killed, and those were innocents. He cut $$ on a lot of things, just to get more to focus on this stupid war in Iraq. Also, gas prices are rising.

Best thing he's done: The $1,000 child tax credit was good legislation. If you want to help people raise thier kids, the extra $1,000 is a good start. Plus, it isn't skewed to the wealthy. Everyone gets the same amount.

Worst thing he's done: Massive deficit spending. I'd better save that $1,000 child tax credit, because I'm going to be paying a lot more than that in interest on the debt before it's over.

Unemployment at 4.5%, the manufacturing sector the highest it's ever been, the stock market at the highest, I mean life just doesn't get any better. Where you been?

My neice and nephew .. twins who were born 3 and 1/2 months early. Their dad was sent to Iraq a few years ago, leaving them to deal with my nutcase sister, their mother. They are without their father who provides so much moral support when they go for their surgeries. And like I said, my sister is nuts, so they are kind of lost without their dad.

the interest rate was down far enough that my mortgage went to fifteen years and i can now own my house instead of the bank.
the dow is at record highs and union thugs are begining to understand finally that wages need to reflect work produced or theyll get outsourced.

the problem here is that liberals dont understand that presidents are first leaders and need to respond to real needs of the american public. personal popularity and political correctness do not make effective leaders and thank god we now have a president who can keep it "zipped" up in the white house so that al qaeda can be attended to properly. you may want eight more years of the clinton legacy liberal, but frankly my personal finances and my level of disgust for their antics cant.
