That's funny because I just opened a jar of pickles. I had to use one of those rubber openers. I don't know how the get those stupid lids on so tight!

lol. i love pickles and i allways have a tough time too. i admit that i am not woman enough. OMG THIS IS WHAT YOU DO- bang the jar(the top part) on the table. then try.

Oh, just bang it on the edge of the counter... that always works for me...of course if it doesn't work, who needs pickles anyway?

I usually can , but if I can't just bang it on the counter while turning it and it'll open.
