Monopoly all the way. More strategy, and it takes longer, which I look for in a board game. Plus, you gotta love hostile takeover of other properties.

Monopoly of course. I never really played Backgamon before, but Monopoly is something you can have fun with and you can play with your friends for hours and hours and still have a good time. So yeah Monopoly would be best for you.

I lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvve Monopoly. However, I don't know how to play Backgammon, and I want to find out. Maybe it's better but I don't see how it could be.

MONOPOLY!!!! it takes a lot of skill and time,, but a victory is truly earned by the end of the game : )

i would say monopoly because it is much more about long strategy and because i know nothing of backgammon
