If life is meaningless to you already you are probably ahead of the game. This worldly existence is only a shadow of reality. Right now we see a counterfeit.

You are feeling the void of not having God in your life. When you find God, abundant joy will fill your soul and a deep hole in your soul will be filled. Life will began to have meaning. I am praying for you-you are reaching out.

Being a twenty-something is tough. You aren't a kid anymore, but you don't really feel like an adult, either. Society expects you to know what you want, and have control of your life. But at the same time, people still see you as a kid, and nobody takes you seriously.

In a few more years, your life should start to take shape, and people will start to respect you a little more. Most people think that they have everything figured out, and that their ways will work for everyone. When they come across someone who is having a tough time, they give some oversimplified advice like "You need to find God" or "You should settle down and get married" or "You should try to see the good in life" as if that will magically fix things. Realistically, you have to work through your troubles and do your best not to lose hope. Only you can figure out what is right for you. If you have trouble doing that, there is no shame in asking for a little help from friends, family, or even a professional counselor.

You need to go to a doctor for a check up. My depression started that way and became quite serious. Suicidal type serious. I was put on a low dose of Prozac for about five years. Within the first three weeks I could feel a change. A couple of times I though I could do without them and quit, but within two weeks I could tell I still needed them. At the five year mark I was fine and quit taking it. That was six years ago. Don't let these feeling go to far. Go to the doctor just in case.

It's not that life is meaningless, you just have to find a motive. Maybe your work is not good enough, the things you do, you have to find something that fills you, completes you. Try new things, get into classes, start a new sport! Something, I'm sure there are plenty of things you can do.

You may be bored and ready to move to the next level either in your career (promotion) or relationships (serious gf or marriage?). Maybe you should find a hobby of some sort. Volunteer some of your spare time to your community and you'd probably see that you have no reason to hate your life. Everyone gets in ruts from time to time. You just have to pull yourself out of it and if you can't, you may be depressed which often needs professional attention.

i share the same feeling as u, and am 22 male myself.

my sole answer is... we must find a goal greater than us, apparently impossible or difficult enough to work our lives around to achieving those goals.
make that goal big enough to bring a meaning to your life and in time... every day will be meaningful, because you will have that goal to achiever

if u want 2 chat, add me on Y! messenger and i'll get in touch with u.

It is normal to go through these feelings, but if it's constant then you should find a new hobby or take on more responsibility.

Buck up and enjoy life!

Don't worry, you have no reason to feel the way you do. No matter how bad things get, it would always get better. Keep hope alive.
