It depends on the the person and there life style and age or more
iam a professional vocalist of 42 years in my 20,s i sang a lot higher than i do now at 60 i was weaned on Petulia Clarke
never that high in range though
in the 80,s i started singing country music which did not require much on the vocal cords my range dropped a lot and holding my notes, i went back to cabaret in the late 80,s and
practised to get back my better form, but still in a low range hope this helps answer your question also an Elvis fan his earlier records his voice did not have the quality as in his later years its the old saying practise makes perfect and if you dont use it you lose it

i'm very much shocked to take heed to this and my concepts are that Joe Perry thinks that Steven Tyler has call it quits from Aerosmith after Steven Tyler fell from a point accident decrease back on August 5 that Steve Tyler wouldnt return telephone calls decrease back to Joe Perry to substantiate that he's quitting the band and alot of bands do replace human beings whilst they go away or fireplace them however the band wouldnt ever be the comparable returned

He used to drink and use drugs a lot in the beginning, perhaps that had something to do with it?

you will find seveal of the singers from back when have voice changes...Steven has sang alot more than a few of the others and his vocals are strained..as we get older...you loose the voice...along with alot of other things...
