Honestly i think he will be gone. When I first heard jeezy it was when the south was really getting hot. The style was fresh and hot at first - new and nice beats, and he was a decent lyricist. The problem is that he hasnt innovated at all. he is still rapping about the same thing in every song, and the beats all sound the same. And honestly - now that jeezy has blown up am I really supposed to believe that he is still selling drugs and living hard like he keeps saying. he talks about all that **** like he still does it, not even in a storytelling way. Biggie rapped about drug dealing, but he was so creative and honest. he was honest about the struggles of a drug dealer. there was 10 crack commandments, there was things done changed, n***** bleed, everyday struggles, suicidal thoughts. jeezy says "it's so hard," buts that about the extent of his creativity.

In essence, he can't innovate like a lot of southern rappers out now, I'm sick of him, and i feel like others will be too soon.

as long as all his albums at least go platinum, he'll still be a known name in the game. He's own the right track. His sophomore album has gone platinum already which is a good thing, because in hip-hop, theirs this thing called the "sophomore jinx" where rappers second album is always one of their lowest selling albums. Since this hasn't been a problem for him, his career should still be looking up in the future

If he gets a bit better he won't be gone, sorta like Snoop Dogg or Diddy << Ok never mind, Diddy was a horrible example.

I hope he's gone. He's a beneficiary of great beats (as most people are nowadays).
