Hi all,

My period is due any day now...June 26-27. I have light cramps, if any, sore boobs, and this wierd fluttering feeling just above my pubic area. What gives?

I estimated that I ovulated on June 11-13; lmp on May 29; sex on June 5, 10, 11 and 13th.

What do you think??? THANKS IN ADVANCE

All: I'm not suggesting that the flutters are a baby. I thought I read somewhere that it could be my uterus expanding or something.

Even if you were pregnant it would be too early to feel the baby moving (that usually occurs between 18-22 weeks), so I don't know what that feeling would be, but it is still possible that you are pregnant. You could try an early result pregnancy test. Those are pretty accurate and if you get a negative test and you still don't get your period, take another one or call your doctor. I hope that things turn out the way you would like... Good luck!

Fluttering in your abdomen could be gas or could just be muscle spasms as your food is being digested or your bowels are doing their job. It usually takes about 4 months at least to start to feel any movement from a fetus (baby). I guess if you are thinking that there is a chance you may be pregnant, you have to ask yourself - did you sex a few months ago, have you been missing your period or have had irregular periods for the past few months, have you felt ill otherwise? If you are concerned that you could be pregnant, get a pregnancy test and check or go to a doctor. That is the only way to be certain.

Sorry, but if you period is due and you just ovulated those abdomen flutters are NOT a BABY!!! Why? Because you don't start to feel your baby moving until 16 weeks and on. I don't think that those flutters have anything to do with anything. Sore breasts are also linked to starting your period so it could be that since your period is about to start that is why they hurt. Sorry!

How old are you?
Don't freak out. The fluttering of which you speak is normal, normal, normal and changes as you age. Some months you get that sensation, others you don't.
Give your OB/GYN or nurse a call if you need further confirmation.

your not that late.
but.
ladies dont start feeling fluttering until around 11 weeks of pregnancy.
take a blood test at your dr, or plan parenthood. that could tell if you are as early as 2 days pregnant

if you are due tomorrow you can try testing, but it may be neg still. The trouble is, early pregnancy symptoms are very similar to pms symptoms!! Good luck

Just wait it out. THere isn't anything you can 'do' now anyways. Whats done is done! You'll either get your period or a serious wake up call that NEVER goes away!!!

Wait until you actually miss your period then take a pregnancy test.
