All four doors, and the hatch, have seized up. The handle mechanism have all broken. Honda paid for the parts, but it still cost over $800 to fix 3 of the doors, and now they're having trouble again. Is this a common problem? Are there any recalls?

yes,there was a recall,,honda should look at vin,,and let you know if u r a recall owner

i worked warranty at honda in australia and i never heard of a recall for doors on the CRV. If u had the doors previously fixed by honda, take it back again as its it an ongoing problem with the work therefor it shouldnt cost u anymore...

i have had two hondas a 95 and an 03, just go to the dealership and complain a bit, talk to a manager and they will take care of the problem it is yours not theirs, and they do not want their reputation ruined! ps honda customer service is awful good luck next time go german, i switched after my 03 was a lemon.
