You need to add Merle, Johnny Paycheck, Possum, Hank Jr. and don't forget a little girl power with Patsy Cline, she didn't conform too well, and Loretta also had a little Sassy side, and Lordy what about Dolly??

Based on deeds it is Waylon. We walked out on Nashville, made his music his way at his place in Lubbock and paved the way for all those other "outlaws"

Probably at a fundamental level it was Kinky back in the earliest days when he was Kinky Friedman and the Texas Jewboys.
In fact I'd vote, "Ride'em Jewboy" for maybe the most unique CW song ever written and performed. Definitely a rebel for his times, he was.
