On a hot brezzy day put the vehicle in the sun and leave the windows open, you may have to do this for muliple days .If the carpet still won't dry you may have to remove the carpet from the vehicle to dry.If the capet has underpadding that may also have to be removed and dried out.If you continue to have dampness problems you may have a leak somewhere.but that's a hole new story.
