I love that movie; it makes you think... The idea is that if you believe enough in it, it will happen. I personally don't believe that these "powers" can have control over someone. I think that if someone believes enough in something they will cause it to happen... like the placebo effect for instance.

Scarily, yes. By possession of a demon or evil spirit. There are actual psychologists who have helped in the field to determine as a second opinion whether the person is suffering from mental illness or otherworldly influences.

It makes for a good story.I wasn't crazy about that movie.No it can't happen in real life.Many silly people foolishly believe it can.That's really scary,I think.

spirits do exist, it says so in the bible!and unless you let them take over your body they wont.the only way for them not to is by you having god in your heart.and witch craft and worshipping satain will lead them in your home and body!!!!!!! just love god and hate them!
