I guess when the USA learns to mind its own business I guess. It isn't a question of charity but of reciprocity. You scratch my back and I scratch yours. The countries that supposedly get these financial assistance are no better than they were before.

I can understand the situation with the African countries that had no chance of paying back the money. The leaders of these countries should simply admit they were completely incompetent, and shouldn't have been so brazenly strident about wanting the colonizing powers to leave. Some African countries sufferered crushing debt burdens because of stupid, short-sighted, greedy leaders.
However........ there are many countries that were perfectly capable of paying off their debts. When France was questioned why, after several decades of prosperity, they still hadn't paid off their WWII debt to the U.S., their foreign minister quipped, "A favor repaid too quickly is a sign of ingratitude". Yeah? I'm sure a few of us would like to spit in that arrogant prig's inferior French Chardonnay.
Back in the 1970's and 1980's, there were dozens of stories about meetings of the major worldwide banks with debtor countries. There was never even any possibility these countries planned to honor their full debt; they were simply negotiating how much of it they could get away with not paying.
Russia did the same. We loaned them lots of money, or paid for their grain.... yes, we paid for the Communists' grain so their people wouldn't starve, and instead of saying, "We bought 50 million tons of corn and wheat, so here is our payment and our thanks", they instead negotiated a reduced payment. I know I can't do that at the local grocery store. Maybe the next time I go to a restaurant, I can say, "That was a fine meal, now let's discuss how much of the bill I'll actually pay."
The U.S. is the world's babysitter, their banker, and their big strong brother (when some bully is beating them up).

A better question is when will we stop spending 483 billion dollars a year on the military even without the Iraq war. Its time to take troops home from all over the world unless someone wants to pay us to be their. Taiwan and South Korea are the only places that even need our support.

I despatched my babies to a Christian college, yet then there have been no college vouchers. the quantity of the faculty vouchers are very small in evaluation to what it cost to place a newborn right into a public college. I definitely have yet another situation with what you have stated approximately public investment. you have stated that we could continuously no longer use any of the issues which you have labeled us as unpatriotic. in simple terms what have you ever completed that became patriotic? do no longer answer with I definitely have paid my Taxes,.......right here's a clue for you so have all and sundry and that i could guess that we've paid a heck of lots extra advantageous than you have. definitely you're no longer so naive which you suspect that individuals with $80,000 won't have the ability to attend to to pay for wellbeing care coverage. have you ever researched the wellbeing plan of Mrs. Clinton? in keeping with danger you're able to be attentive to that below her plan you're no longer from now on going to have a call approximately whether you have scientific coverage or no longer, you have got it as that's going to be mandated, the quantity which you pay will variety yet none the less you have got coverage and additionally you will furnish that coverage to any and all your babies. once you bypass searching that's a stable theory to load your gun, and not with blanks and not with innuendo or conjecture.

Not a very valid question......we have exploited labor not only in OUR country but in other countries around the world. I think the better question is when will American companies pay a decent wage to its workers? When will commercialism stop robbing the livelyhood of people in America and around the world?
