I only just heard of this, it sounds great, could anyone who's tried it tell me if i should get it, i have very heavy periods and have to change pads all the time, I don't like tampons, I've tried them for years on and off and just never found them comfortable, would a cup be the same?

I use it and I'm in the camp of people who swear by it. I have the Divacup and the Mooncup and love them both. There is a bit of a learning curve at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's very easy and convenient. You can't feel it once it is inside, and has a capacity that is more than twice that of a super plus tampon. If you have a heavy flow, I would recommend the Lunette: http://www.lunette.fi/english_index.html

and can be purchased internationally at: http://www.kuukuppi.fi/index.php?main_page=index&language=en

It is the largest cup, and users report that it is very easy to insert, remove and keep clean.

Good luck.

I have a Diva Cup and I love the thing. It is easier than tampons, and I usually only have to check it twice a day. One of those times I do it in the shower, where the mess is easily washed down the drain. I have had no problems with leaking, though it can be tricky at first to properly insert the cup and then get it back out. Both become easier with use. It only needs to be washed with warm soapy water, and you are less likely to develop things like TSS from it. I bought mine from lunapads.com, where they have a 1 year return policy (you can actually try it out and decide over a few cycles). They also have testimonials from other women who use the product, as well as other menstural products.

I have used one for some time and swear by it. However, everyone is different so check it out and see what you think. If you have a heavy flow you may have to empty it a little more often. I empty mine twice a day most of the time. You can check out the websites below for all the information you need. There are a couple other brads on the market but I can not think of their name. Try to google it and I am sure you will find a ton of information.

I have heard of it but have no Idea how it works and frankly it sounds a little gross.

If your Tampons are not comfortable, it is because you are not inserting them deeply enough. Once you get them above the Vaginal muscle you will not even feel them.

i have tried this before and didn't care for it. it was fine for the first hour then it began to leak because it became dislodged. one thing tho, it is very very messy when you are taking it out!! you MUST be sitting on the toilet cuz it gets EVERYWHERE! trust me, dont try it...if it comes dislodged in a public place you are in huge trouble! hope this helps
