As reported moments ago former WWE and WCW champion Chris Benoit and his wife, former WCW and ECW personality Nancy “Women” Benoit were both found dead today in Atlanta, Georgia. The couple has two children but it has not yet been confirmed that they were found dead also.
This is obviously a huge breaking story and we are working as hard as we can to get out news as it becomes available to us.
WWE is currently in a meeting right now as tonight’s RAW will be dedicated in Benoit’s memory.
This is a shock for the entire Internet Wrestling Community as well as the Superstars. May God’s blessing rest upon all of us this evening.
This is for some of you who don't believe...All I can say is that I will really miss him...RIP Chris

Shark, you made a very good point with the possibility of carbon monoxide. One article I read (not sure which), but I'm certain one of them didn't throw that one aside.
Also, regarding his family being sick and coughing up blood, you were absolutely right - Benoit missed work as a result of the sicknesses.
I also heard about strange text messaging, though I have no comments on that yet. There really isn't very much to say at this point, I'm not one to jump to conclusions, so I'll wait it out until we hear more. As for now..

not chris omfg....im gonna miss him...he could go up against the worst rated superstar...and ppl would still stand on their feet for they new that this was gonna be a good match since he was in it. I cant believe it. This is actual gettin me to tear.
first eddie guerrero and now chris benoit. this is crazy. I dont want to believe it.

RIP Benoit! One of my favorate wrestlers growing up! Former World Heavyweight Champ, U.S. Champ, I.C. Champ WWE Tag Champ, 2004 Rayal Rumble Winner, ECW World Champ in my book.We will never forget him and his family. But when God calls someone home, well he calls them home and there's nothing you can do about it. At least he's up there with Eddie. There's nothing else I can say but this: Like Bret Hart hes "The best there is, The best there was and the BEST there ever will be!

I am not trying to help rumors, just see if there could be any truth in them. There are two I have heard. One is Carbon Monoxide posioning. The other was they died in their sleep due to a faulty gas line. I dont know. I read that he called in Sunday to say his family was ill and spitting up blood and that he needed to stay to take care of them, thats why he wasnt at the Sunday PPV

Why did he have to go? I'm still a bit twisted on this. Please dont exploit his death WWE. We dont wanna see another Eddie bombshell storyline. What to do what to do....After Vince faked his death someone actually dies. Bye Benoit you will be missed.
