On Friday I was shot in the head with a rock from a sling shot..i was told yesterday that I have a cerebral concussion..im feeling dizzy and off balance with headaches and what not...its been 3 days since the incident..im a little nervous that the concussion is lasting too long! someone help!

They last until they are done. Really there is no way to know.I always thought a concussion was no big deal until you get one and then it's a different story. I got rear ended at a stop sign and couldn't even drive myself to work, and then my boss let me sit around in a chair and sleep all day at 1st. It will throw your whole brain off and will SLOWLY get better. Don't expect miracles and see a dr if you haven't.It's been 2 years and I still get swishy headed now.

Post-concussive syndrome can last up to a year, but you appear to have something of a mild case. If it isn't better in a couple of weeks, see a neurologist.
