for going to jail for 3 and a half weeks she gets millions for her diaries and probable millions for interviews about being in jail. all in all it'll probable work out to be about one million a week. this isn't fair, aren't there rules about profitting from a crime you comitted? there should be! its ridiculous, you know what else is ridiculous...? i'm asking a question about paris hilton

I don't like that she can profit from her crime, but since we live in a free country she has the right to profit. Now if she is says insulting things about the victim (or in her case the sheriff, police, etc), she still could be sued in civil court so she doesn't want to push it.
