LeBron James for MVP.

The award is for the regular season. Kobe, Lebron, Duncan and D-Wade, are the NBAs best players. Nash, Dirk and Duncan led the best teams in the regular season. The Lakers were not good enough to consider Kobe, Wade was out for too long, Nash and the Suns were not as good as Dallas in the regular season, same for Duncan and the Spurs. Lebron and Dirk would have to be the top two canidates. 1. Dirk, 2. Lebron, 3. Duncan, 4. Nash, 5.your choice, Boozer, D-Wade, Barron Davis, 9. your choice, Kobe, Arenas, Tony Parker, T-Mac. I have no problem if you choose Lebron over Dirk, Clevland did a lot in the regular season with less talent and poor chemistry (improved durring the playoffs). I am a Laker fan but could not place Kobe ahead of even Boozer, an MVP should be a good teammate not someone who rather embarass his teammates than make them look good.

Dirk is definately a great player but they picked the most valuable player on a good team which isn't what MVP is all about. No matter what anyone says Kobe Bryant was the best player in all of baskteball this year. With all those 50 plus games in a row. I am a Detroit fan but Kobe is by far the best basketball player in the league.

Nash. he was obviously the most valuable players (kobe was the best) How come he won it 2 seasons in a row, but when he improved even more, he didn't win it? Makes no sense to me... Maybe it was the fact no one wanted him to win 3 MVP's in a row... Or maybe because Amare was back, of course he would play better. I honestly think the MVP should happen after the playoffs, cause first off, there is no way the MVP of a team would not make the playoffs, thats idiotic, and second off, looking at dirk, he won the MVP and STUNK OUT LOUD in the playoffs agaisnt GS!!

Because the award SHOULD be called the MOP (most outstanding player), I think that either Kobe or Lebron should be because they are obviously the two best players on the planet in what they bring offensively and defensively. Look at the Suns without Nash? Try looking at the Lakers or the Cavs without thier stars.

I picked Nash, but the writers dropped the ball.

I fail to understand how Baby Kryant should have been MVP. The Lakers sucked whether he played or not, so how can he be valuable? Oh yeah, he made the difference between LAL getting a lottery pick and losing in the first round again. Now THAT'S value!!

Maybe Kryant for Player of the Year, but I fail to see that he was most valuable.

I would have chosen Nash 1st and Duncan 2nd.

Dirk has proven for the 2nd year in a that the thing he does best is not shooting or scoring or rebounding but CHOKING when the game is on the line.

Any self respecting voter should not even consider him for next years MVP balloting because its only a matter of time before he chokes again.

Nash...career highs in assists and points...when you got a mvp on your team that can't even help you beat a 8 seed...no way should Dirk of been MVP...next would be Kobe but even though I'm not a nash fan...this should've been his 3-pete as mvp.

Nash... how can you deny a 2-time MVP who put up numbers better than his MVP years?
