You can be charged with trespassing, but if you can prove that the animals are mistreated and you have proof of why you were there I doubt the trespass would hold up in court, you really should contact animal control to save yourself a lot of grief.

As I understand it, stalking refers to hunting a person and following them, in the way a lion stalks its prey, with intent to harm or harrass. How would feeding animals be "stalking"? Have you been asked to stay off his property? In that case, it would be tresspassing, not stalking.
It sounds like you are using the mistreatment of animals as an excuse to enter someone else's property.
If there are mistreated animals, you should call the ASPCA or other local humane organization and tell them about the mistreatment. There are laws that will protect such animals and also fine the owners.
Have you asked the owner's permission to feed his animals? You might be totally shocked by his agreement. Had you considered that perhaps he cannot afford to feed them? Perhaps illness prevents him from feeding them? Perhaps he will welcome your assistance.

your best option is to call the local police or animal control officer or SPCA group.

You can be charged with tresspass if the property is posted with signs. The owner could also say you were injuring his animals.
