On the June 11 edition of RAW, Benoit was drafted from SmackDown! to ECW as part of the 2007 WWE Draft, after losing a match to Bobby Lashley. Benoit won his ECW debut match teaming up with CM Punk and defeating Elijah Burke and Marcus Cor Von by disqualfication. With Lashley's draft to RAW, the ECW World Championship was vacated. Benoit then defeated Elijah Burke to be a contender for the vacated Championship and was going to face fellow contender CM Punk at Vengeance. However, Chris Benoit was absent due to a family emergency. His replacement, Johnny Nitro went on to become ECW World Champion

I hate mixing kayfabe with quite authentic international incidents, so Bossman and Triple H are at present out of the working. For some reason the internet has this loopy thought that this is how Bossman died. It wasn't. He died of a coronary heart attack. jointly as Katie Vick ought to be the main tasteless gimmick of all time, i don't hear anybody quite conversing approximately it or debating whether or not it helped anybody in touch extra their profession, consequently this is not controvercial. the final census is that the Katie Vick perspective grow to be a nasty perspective, erego no controvercy. With those 2 out of ways, i don't hear a lot of human beings conversing approximately Kat's nudity slip, and that i'm particular maximum individuals, self blanketed, did not even endure in innovations it till you extra it up. jointly as Owen's demise has lent to countless conspiracy theories and particular, even ghost memories, i might say it grow to be steeped greater in tragedy than controvercy, even whilst it grow to be "clean". I nonetheless to this present day see human beings conversing in regards to the untimely homicide/suicide of the Benoit relatives, some accusing Kevin Sullivan of homicide, others wrongfully blaming steroids, including substantial media components who did not worry putting out a retraction whilst innovations harm grow to be chanced on simply by fact the authentic smoking gun. inspite of innovations harm, there remains different issues to dispute like the state of Nancy and Chris's marraige and the strain of having a newborn with this form of gentle situation. And out of all of those activities, this one's made the biggest imprent on the two wrestling followers and wrestling as an entire. one ought to question if WWE may well be under the US governments scruteny if not for this adventure. this is even to the factor that followers cope with the call Benoit as though it holds some potential, going so a techniques as to not announcing it aloud or declaring it in blogs or columns. I swear, Voldemort and Macbeth have been uttered greater circumstances in Potter international and the theatre than Benoit has been interior the previous 4 years. So yeah, i think of Benoit's surely left the main questions out of all of those activities.

I see people quoting wikipedia but they have been known to be inaccurate and have had people hack into them and mess information up. I haven't been able to find anything concrete aside from what wwe.com had.
